EDDU BUSINESS TRAINING REFUND POLICY

Effective date: 16 August 2026
Last updated: 16 August 2026

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Refund Policy applies to courses, webinars and other training products purchased directly from EDDU Business Training (“EDDU”, “we”, “us” or “our”) through https://eddu.co.za/.

This policy explains EDDU’s voluntary completion guarantees and the requirements a participant must meet when requesting a refund under those guarantees.

STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS

EDDU’s voluntary guarantees are additional to, and do not replace or limit, any rights or remedies that a consumer may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 or other applicable South African law.

Where applicable law gives a consumer a right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, that right will apply regardless of any conflicting provision in this policy.

30-DAY COURSE COMPLETION GUARANTEE

EDDU offers a conditional 30-Day Completion Guarantee on the 30 Days to Better Sales course and any other programme that expressly states that this guarantee applies.

A participant may request a refund under this guarantee only if all the following requirements have been met:

The 30-day programme period begins on the date the participant’s first course lesson is delivered, unless the applicable course terms expressly specify a different starting date.

For purposes of the seven-day refund-request period, the completion date is the date on which EDDU’s records show that the participant completed the final required lesson and activity.

Refund requests that do not meet every requirement above may be declined, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

No refund will be granted under the 30-Day Completion Guarantee where the participant failed to complete the programme requirements within the applicable period.

LIVE WEBINAR COMPLETION GUARANTEE

Where a live EDDU webinar is sold with a completion guarantee, an attendee may request a refund under that guarantee only if all the following requirements have been met:

Joining a webinar without remaining active for the complete 90-minute session does not satisfy the guarantee requirements. Arriving late, leaving early, failing to participate reasonably or failing to submit the questionnaire and refund request within three calendar days may result in the request being declined.

No refund will be granted under the webinar completion guarantee to a person who did not attend the webinar or who did not meet all the requirements above, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

ATTENDANCE AND COMPLETION RECORDS

EDDU may use reasonable records to verify eligibility, including:

EDDU may request additional information reasonably necessary to confirm the participant’s identity, order and compliance with the applicable guarantee.

HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

A refund request must be submitted by email to info@eddu.co.za or through an official EDDU support channel.

The request must include:

Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee approval. EDDU will first verify that the applicable requirements have been met.

BUSINESS AND TEAM BOOKINGS

For a business or team booking, guarantee eligibility is assessed separately for each participant. A refund under a completion guarantee applies only to the fee attributable to an eligible participant, unless applicable law or a written agreement with EDDU requires otherwise.

The business or person who paid for the booking must submit or authorise the refund request. EDDU may verify the authority of the person making the request before processing it.

CANCELLATION OR NON-DELIVERY BY EDDU

If EDDU cancels a paid webinar or programme and does not provide a suitable replacement date or agreed alternative, the customer will be entitled to a refund of the affected amount.

If a material technical failure within EDDU’s reasonable control prevents delivery of the purchased training, EDDU may first offer a replacement session, restored access or another reasonable remedy. This does not limit any remedy available under applicable law.

REFUND ASSESSMENT AND PROCESSING

EDDU will assess a properly submitted refund request after receiving the information needed to verify it.

Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable period after verification and approval. Refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible. The time taken for funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

EDDU will communicate whether the request has been approved, declined or requires additional information.

EXCLUSIONS FROM THE VOLUNTARY GUARANTEES

Unless applicable law provides otherwise, EDDU’s voluntary completion guarantees do not cover:

This section does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

EDDU provides practical, non-accredited business training. Individual results vary and depend on participation, practice, opportunity, product, market conditions and consistent application.

The guarantees in this policy concern satisfaction after verified completion. They are not guarantees that a participant will make more sales, earn income, obtain employment or achieve a particular business result.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

EDDU may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The policy that applied when the customer completed the relevant purchase will generally govern that purchase, subject to applicable law and any later change that benefits the customer.

The latest version will be published on the EDDU website with its effective date.
